Project Overview
The Spartan Athletics Center (SAC) is a new 55,000+ square foot, two-story facility supporting San José State University Athletics and anchoring the eastern half of CEFCU Stadium. The center serves football, men’s soccer, and women’s soccer programs while providing modern amenities for all 22 Spartan athletic teams.
MDC delivered a comprehensive design-build solution for the facility’s telecommunications, security, and audiovisual infrastructure, providing reliable, integrated systems that support the university’s athletic operations and campus-wide technology network.
Systems Installed
Telecommunications InfrastructureDeployment of a SYSTIMAX structured cabling system with more than 400 cables, two IDF rooms, and backbone connectivity integrated with the campus network. |
Security SystemsInstallation of a Lenel S2 access control system featuring 30+ card readers and over 40 surveillance cameras integrated into the campus-wide ExacqVision platform. |
