- Focused on operational excellence and customer-first leadership.
Mark Mahoney
Managing Partner
- Over 25 years of experience in the telecom and structure cabling industry
- Joined MDC in 2005, Mark is celebrated as one of the industry leading professionals and a major contributing factor to MDCs culture.
- Experience estimating and managing complex projects from hospitals, schools, collages, tenant improvements and multi-unit housing.
- Expert in sound masking system design solutions and implementation with a track record of 200+ projects.
Justin Mehtlan
President
- 15 + years in the low voltage industry.
- Founded MDC’s Pre-Construction for 10 years before becoming a partner within MDC
- Cultivated major accounts including UCSF, Anthropic, Open AI, Sephora, and the City of San Francisco.
- Holds a B.S in Construction Management (CSU Chico).
- Strategically positioned MDC within the public works sector of the electrical industry.
Luke Pearce
Chief Operations Officer
- 10 + Years at MDC with expertise Project Management, Design/Build Engineering and Operations.
- Led complex projects for Meta, Instagram, Oculus, Exelixis, Sephora and UCSF.
- B.A. in Criminal Justice (CSU Chico).
- Focused on operational efficiency, new emerging technologies, team leadership, and client success.
Michael Barbagelata
Chief Technology Officer
- Over 35 years experience in the security industry
- Earned his Communication degree from the University of San Francisco
- Began his career in the field and has held roles including Service Technician, Service Manager, Project Manager, Regional Manager and now CTO
- Has successfully led projects not only in the Bay area but across the US, Europe, South America and Asia
- Prior to joining the MDC family, Mike successfully owned and operated McMillan Security Systems for over 20 years, bringing a wealth of knowledge and leadership to our team
