Project Overview
MDC Low Voltage Systems provided complete telecommunications and audiovisual design and installation for the renovation of Foothill College’s Dental Hygiene and Radiology Clinic, part of the Foothill-De Anza Community College District. The project modernizes the clinic’s entire network infrastructure to support next-generation dental education, including chair-side connectivity, wireless coverage throughout, and a fully rebuilt telecom room, all designed to the District’s board-approved technology standards.
The scope includes a full design-build telecom delivery from schematic design through installation, including authoring the complete Division 27 specification package. MDC is working in close coordination with the architect, electrical engineer, and District technology services throughout the design review process, while also providing telecom design for a temporary swing space clinic to keep the dental program fully operational during construction.
