Project Overview
Western Digital’s corporate headquarters at 5601 Great Oaks Parkway in South San Jose is a multi-building technology campus supporting the company’s engineering, research, and business operations. MDC provided telecommunications and security scope across five buildings on the campus, including lab and office spaces, delivering a phased installation approach to minimize disruption to ongoing operations.
The scope included the installation of approximately 500 Cat6A cables across all five buildings, security turnstile procurement and installation in the A1 building, and close coordination between buildings throughout the phased schedule. MDC worked across Buildings B50, B6, B7, E1, and A1, ensuring each space received reliable, scalable low voltage infrastructure tailored to the demands of a high-performance technology environment.
