Project Overview
Evolving from a previous contract, an emergency project ensued as the MDC team discovered underground communications being passed through the location of a new building. After auditing all buildings on the airfield to verify incoming communication, our team of experts back pulled all fiber and copper that was routed underground in the future construction zone to communication vaults. New fiber and high pair copper trunks were then installed through new pathways as they were provided with flash cuts by fusion splicing and mechanical splicing, respectively. McMillan worked around the clock for two weeks to allow the project to stay on schedule without affecting any operations on Moffett Field.
